DALLAS, PA – February 19, 2010 –Harold S. Leininger, President & COO, Metz & Associates, Ltd., recently announced three additions to the Metz leadership team. Ryan McNulty has joined the dining and environmental management company as Director of Culinary Development, Jimmy Blicharz has been named Vice President of the K-12 School Dining Services division, and Chris Motyka, has joined the company as Vice President of Support Services.

“We are pleased to welcome these gentlemen to the Metz leadership team, because we realize the talent of individuals who possess management roles within our organization is critical to our success and to the level of service we provide to our clients,” Leininger said. “I am confident that their guidance will help Metz & Associates move into the future better prepared with innovative ideas and quality leadership.”

In his position as Director of Culinary Development, McNulty will be responsible for setting culinary standards, such as quality, presentation, menu planning, recipe development, standardization, product specifications and customer satisfaction. He is a Certified Executive Chef who brings an extensive background in foodservice to the Metz team, ranging from project development and management to menu and recipe development, quality control and culinary training. He previously served as a research and development chef/quality control manager for Innovative Foods, Inc., where he developed products for national distribution. He also worked to create product specification manuals and product prototypes. In addition to serving as executive chef at several restaurants, he also held the position of Culinary Chef Instructor at The Restaurant School at Walnut Hill College in Philadelphia, PA. He previously worked with Metz Associated, Ltd. from 1997 to 2002 in the position of General Manager/Culinary Corporate Support.

McNulty graduated Magna Cum Laude from Johnson & Wales University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Culinary Arts Management. His culinary expertise has been featured on Comcast Television Network’s nationally syndicated “Flavors of America” and also on “Fretz Kitchen.”

Blicharz brings 30 years of industry expertise to his new position as Vice President of Metz & Associates School Dining Services Division. He will be instrumental in the future growth and continued development of this division by providing outstanding leadership, incentive programs, and strong problem solving and planning skills. Blicharz joined the Metz team in the fall as a district manager. His previous experience includes management of various school dining and healthcare operations. In his most recent position, he served as Chief Operating Officer for Food Management Group where he was responsible for the day-to-day operations of the business in addition to selling, planning and opening new accounts. He also served as a Regional Manager for the Aramark Corporation where he oversaw the operations of nineteen units and helped triple managed volume for the company. He earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Hotel, Restaurant and Institutional Management from Michigan State University.

As Vice President of Support Services and the newest member of the Metz leadership team, Motyka will be instrumental in growing this division through quality leadership, innovative ideas and strategic planning. Prior to joining Metz & Associates, Ltd., Motyka served as a district manager for Aramark/ServiceMaster Healthcare where his responsibilities included leadership of 27 managers in 19 departments at 12 locations. He has also served as a regional sales executive for ServiceMaster Healthcare and as a division director for integrated support services for a large healthcare system. Motyka received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Bloomsburg University.
