Metz & Associates Partners With Penn State To Educate Managers On Food Prep & Safety

DALLAS, PA – April 7, 2006 – Metz & Associates, Ltd., a leading Food Management and Support Services company, has just partnered with Penn State University’s School of Hospitality Management in the development of a new and informative training program. . The training program, will focus on food preparation and employee safety, will be held at Penn State’s Innovation Center in State College June 21 - 23.

Team members, including Metz and Associates’ employees and client employees will be selected to participate by Metz & Associates’ divisional vice presidents. These key personnel will be selected based on exemplary performance, potential for benefiting from the training and client recommendations.

The three day training program will focus on the general principles of cooking, as well as, an entire segment focused exclusively on HACCP and sanitation. Metz’s vendor partners will be present to demonstrate their new and healthy choices products. A corporate dietitian will also be on hand to reinforce the importance of healthy dining and review the ever-changing dietary requirements of our customers.
