Herron Receives CEO Presidential Award from Metz & Associates, Ltd.

John Herron, divisional vice president, Support Services, was awarded the CEO Presidential Award by Metz & Associates, Ltd. at the company’s annual awards gala on April 22.

“This award is presented to the individual who inspires us with their leadership and vision throughout the entire year,” said John C. Metz, CEO, Metz Enterprises. “John continues to guide and motivate his fellow team members and has also helped to guide this company to even higher levels of growth and achievement.”

Herron received the award during Summit 2007, Metz & Associates’ annual management recognition and training event, which was held at Seven Springs Mountain Resort in Western Pennsylvania from April 22-24.

In his position with Metz & Associates, Herron oversees all aspects of the company’s Support Services Division, which provides clients that range from long term care facilities and hospitals to businesses and educational institutions with knowledge and expertise in the areas of maintenance, grounds-keeping, housekeeping, laundry & linen distribution, custodial services and security. His areas of expertise include directing company growth in the industry, operations management within his division and the implementation of operating procedures and training programs.

Herron earned a bachelor of science degree in Business Administration from Bloomsburg University. Prior to joining Metz & Associates, he served as divisional president for Century Management Systems, vice president of Operations for Custom Environment Services and regional manager for Service Master Industries.
