Kathy Gonzalez has been named Vice President of Nutrition Education Services. In her new position, Gonzalez will oversee all aspects of nutrition, nutrition education, wellness and sustainability of all divisions of Metz & Associates, Ltd., with a special focus on the Healthcare Division. “This position will provide our managers with better tools and resources in dealing with the complexities of nutrition and wellness,” Gonzalez said. “Healthcare is such a rapidly growing part of our business that we want to insure a continued focus on the special needs of this industry. This expansion of our leadership team within this division will allow us to do that.”
Craig Solomon, a twenty-year veteran of the healthcare dining industry, has been promoted to Vice President of Healthcare Operations and Tom Boyd has been promoted to District Manager, Healthcare Division. In his new position, Solomon will utilize his vast knowledge to lead the Metz Healthcare team in developing new initiatives and also in the area of business development. Boyd’s responsibilities will include overseeing the management of accounts in the eastern region.
Rounding out the Metz & Associates Leadership Healthcare Management team are John Scialabba and Todd Baker. Scialabba has joined the Metz team as a new District Manager in the Healthcare Division, where he will be responsible for overseeing the management of accountants western Pennsylvania and Ohio. Baker has been promoted to the position of Resident District Manager, Healthcare Division, where he will take on leadership roles at Mercy Hospital, Scranton, Pennsylvania and also RiverWoods, RiverCrest and Normandie Ridge in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania.
