Metz Hosts Leadership Development Program at Penn State
For Immediate Release
DALLAS, PA – October 23, 2008 –Pennsylvania State University’s Hospitality Leadership Institute in State College was the setting for a three-day Management Leadership Development Program hosted by Metz & Associates, Ltd.

“I found the Senior Leadership training at Penn State to be inspirational, educational and upbeat, and by far the best program our company has offered,” said Craig Solomon, vice president, Health Care Division, Metz & Associates, Ltd. “What was most valuable to me was learning how to recognize and understand the behavioral traits of myself and others, and how to use my knowledge of those traits to be a better motivator and leader.”

The program, which was geared towards the Metz senior management team and also emerging leaders, covered topics such as leading in the future, effectively managing workplace conflict, building high performing teams, communicating effectively, and building better work relationships. The agenda combined classroom education with off-site interactive teambuilding activities.

“At Metz & Associates, we remain committed to the development of our team members and in helping them to realize their full leadership potential,” said Harold Leininger, president & COO, Metz & Associates, Ltd. “The Penn State program focused on building team camaraderie, while providing education and insight on how we can all become more effective leaders.”
