Toby Horner’s responsibilities include supervising the food service management at all Metz & Associates school district accounts. A 25-year veteran of the food service industry, Horner’s experience is extensive. In addition to his background with school districts, Horner has supervised food service departments at several Metz & Associates Corporate, Healthcare and summer camp accounts.
Horner emphasizes the team mentality in his division. Each manager knows that when needed, the resources of every member of the district can be brought to any account at any time to make each event memorable. Horner is often found in the kitchen along with his managers, making each event a team effort.
Horner’s involvement with his community does not stop with his accounts. As a parent with two children, he takes active interest in the Westmont Hilltop school district, where he serves on the Strategic Planning Committee and the Foreign Language Committee.
A member of the Metz management team since 1998, Horner prides himself on maintaining a personal touch at each account. "I make client satisfaction a top priority," Horner said. "This includes learning what will satisfy the thousands of students who are also our clients."
